Cades Cove is a highlight of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This valley is alive with a variety of plants and wildflowers. Not surprisingly, many types of wildlife can be seen in Cades Cove, including white-tailed deer, turkeys, woodchucks, and raccoons. Visitors can also see old churches, barns, and houses that are a part of the area’s long history.
Pigeon Forge, just outside of the park, is the perfect stop for visitors who want to enjoy a delicious meal.
